KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College Baseball's
Brandon Wilson was named Empire 8 Co-Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Wilson had a strong week for the Green and Gold, pitching in three of Keuka's four conference victories over the week.
His week started by closing out Wednesday's victory at Utica University. Wilson entered in the ninth innings and sat the Pioneers down in order with a pair of strikeouts to earn the save. On Friday, He entered in relief in the ninth and kept the game tied through extra innings. He would go three innings without allowing a hit. The Wolves would go on to the 13-inning victory. Wilson concluded his week with three more innings of relief to close out a 5-4 Keuka victory at Houghton.
On the season, Wilson has pitched in 11 games for the Wolves, all in relief. He has totaled 25.2 innings pitched. He has three saves on the season to lead the Wolves and is tied for the third-most in a season in program history.
Wilson and the Wolves have a break from Empire 8 play this week. They will play at Hobart College on Tuesday and then host RIT on Wednesday in non-conference games.
