KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Baseball Team earned the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.
The Wolves earned the academic honor by posting their highest team grade point average in 10 years. The Green and Gold had a 3.48 GPA as a team for the academic year. It was also the highest grade point average from a men's program at Keuka College in 2025-26.
It was the sixth time in program history the team was honored for academics by the national coaches association. Five of which have come in the past six years. The team average was led by a pair of pitchers.
Hunter Corkran and
Ryan Schur, Jr. each posted a perfect 4.0 for the year.
The Wolves were one of four teams from the Empire 8 Conference to earn the honor, joining St. John Fisher, SUNY Brockport, and SUNY Poly.
In total, the American Baseball Coaches Association honored 196 NCAA Division III programs for their performance in the classroom. The national association awards collegiate and high school baseball teams who post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
