After standout performances last week, Janea Hamilton-Brown of women's basketball and Lamar Lovelace of men's basketball were named Wolves of the Week.
Janea Hamilton-Brown – Women's Basketball
The junior guard led the Wolves in scoring last week at SUNY Geneseo, posting 14 points, three assists, a block and a steal. It marked a season high for her and her most points in a game since her collegiate debut, when she scored 16 as a freshman.
Lamar Lovelace – Men's Basketball
Lovelace averaged 19.5 points, six rebounds and 1.5 steals per game for the Wolves last week. He opened the week with a season-high 27 points, nine rebounds and two steals against Alfred State, then followed with 12 points and three rebounds in Saturday's game at SUNY Geneseo. The senior guard is averaging a career-high 17.3 points per game this season and is the Wolves' leading scorer.
