The game remained tied until Abington scored five runs in the sixth and three runs in the seventh to earn the win.
In the nightcap, the Storm threatened in the second after junior Dylan Thomas (Kent, Ohio/Theodore Roosevelt) walked and stole second, but on a D'Augustino single to left field, Thomas was thrown out at the plate and the game remained scoreless.
McVannan set down the Nittany Lions in the first, third and fifth innings until the Storm got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth.
Borchert singled to right field and Corbin was hit by a pitch, giving the Green and Gold runners at first and second with only one out. After a pop out, Mitaynes, a pinch-hitter, singled into center field, scoring Borchert for the game's only run.
Abington put runners on first and third with two outs in the seventh, but McVannan struck out Michael Dunlap to end the game.
Keuka hosts Penn State-Abington for a nine-inning contest Sunday at noon to complete the three-game series with the Nittany Lions.
