After standout performances last week, Alex Evans of Baseball and Harrison Root of Men's Lacrosse were named Wolves of the Week.
Alex Evans – Baseball
The junior infielder played a key role as the Wolves posted a 2-2 record this past week while postseason seeding continues to take shape. In a win over Utica University, Evans delivered a standout performance with two runs on two hits and three RBIs. Over the weekend against SUNY Poly, where the Green and Gold went 1-2, Evans added three runs and two RBIs.
Harrison Root – Men's Lacrosse
Root closed out his junior season on a strong note, scoring six goals in the regular-season finale at SUNY Brockport. The performance made him the program's goals in a single-season leader with 48 goals, surpassing Joel Johnson '01, who scored 45. Root also moved into a tie for fourth all-time in career goals with 98 and continues to climb the Keuka College record book.
