Box Score 2 KEUKA PARK — Keuka College women's volleyball gets their first win of the season against SUNY Canton 3-1. But the Wolves fall just short in their second game of the day against University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in a 3-2 loss.

Nina Scott led the Wolves against the Kangaroos with 19 kills and three aces. While first year Poebe Swartz let the team in assists against with 23, a personal best in her young career as a wolf. Against Pitt-Bradford, first year
Meaghan Knott scored seven service aces against, another personal best. While sophomore
Rosslan Force had four blocks against the Panthers and five on the day.
Keuka College 3 vs. SUNY Canton 1
The green and gold started off their morning losing 26-24 in a back and forth first set. In another close second set, the Wolves went on a three-point run coming from behind to close it out 25-23. In set three and four, Keuka College took over winning 25-17 and 25-19 respectively and get their first win of the young season.
Keuka College 2 vs. University of Pittsburgh at Bradford 3
The wolves came out strong in the first set winning by a landslide 25-10. But as they have shown in this tournament, the Panthers are not easy to get rid of. In a very close second set, Pitt-Bradford won 25-21. In the fourth, the green and gold go on a 8-2 run after being tied at 17 to win the set 25-19. Knott had three service aces from during that run in the third. The Panthers came back strong in the fourth set with a 25-16 win leading for almost the entire set. In a very close fifth set, the Panthers went on a five-point run to close out the game and grab the victory.
KC Notes:
- Keuka College now have won three straight games against SUNY Canton and are now 3-4 all-time in the series and the wolves are now 3-2 at home against the Roos
- Sophomore Gabby Rodriguez surpassed 400 digs all-time with 24 digs against Canton
- The Wolves are now 8-14 all-time against the Panthers and 0-4 in five set matches
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will head to Canton, N.Y. to face St. Lawrence University on Friday, September 5 for their first game in the North Country Classic.
