KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Three Keuka College Women's Volleyball student-athletes were named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
Lilah Cousins,
Rosslan Force, and
Gabby Rodriguez were all honored for their academic achievement by the national organization.
The trio were a part of a conference-record 36 student-athletes earning the honor in the Empire 8 Conference. 11 of the 12 conference institutions had a student-athlete earn Academic All-District.
The sophomore trio each started all 26 matches for the Green and Gold this fall.
Lilah Cousins took a step forward in her second season, setting personal bests with 56 kills and 28 blocks. She posted a season-high with six kills against MCLA in the season-opening match. A week later, Cousins set a career high with four blocks at St. Lawrence University.
Rosslan Force had an impactful first season for the Green and Gold. She ranked third on the team with 98 kills and led Keuka College with 39 blocks. Force set a career high with 11 kills in a five-set match against Plattsburgh State in September. Twice she had five blocks in a match during the season to set a personal best.
Gabby Rodriguez has been one of the top liberos in the Empire 8 Conference in each of her first two seasons at Keuka College. After ranking fifth in the conference with 4.01 digs per set as a freshman, Rodriguez increased her production to 4.60 digs per set as a sophomore, ranking third in the Empire 8. She set a new career-high with 31 digs in a conference match at Utica University on Halloween. She surpassed 400 digs on the season, finishing with 405 in 2025, ranking just outside the top ten for digs in a season in program history.
To be eligible for Academic All-District, the student-athlete must have at least a sophomore standing and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 while playing at least 90% of the team's matches.
