Box Score ALBANY, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team lost on the road on Friday at Russell Sage College 13-3 in an Empire 8 Conference game.
Sadie Bonetti had two goals for Keuka College (3-5, 0-2 Empire 8). Gabrielle Major added a goal for the Wolves.
Russell Sage College 13 vs. Keuka College 3
Russell Sage took the lead early as the Gators won the opening draw and earned a free position 15 seconds into the game. Sage scored for the lead and would build a 4-0 lead in the quarter. Keuka got on the board late in the frame on a free position goal by Gabrielle Major, but the hosts added one and led 5-1 after one.
Keuka College continued to attack in the second quarter. The Wolves outshot Russell Sage 8-4 in the second, but Russell Sage's goalie made six saves in the second and totaled 12 in the opening 30 minutes. Sadie Bonetti matched a goal by the Gators. Both teams only scored one in the second as Russell Sage led 6-2 at the half.
The hosts flipped the field on the Wolves in the third. Russell Sage outshot Keuka 10-3 in the quarter and took advantage. Behind three free position goals, the Gators extended their lead. In total, Russell Sage scored five in the quarter and took an 11-2 lead into the final quarter.
Momentum carried Sage to two more goals to start the fourth quarter, pushing the margin to double-digits. Bonetti got one back for the Wolves, but Russell Sage continued onto the 13-3 victory.

- Friday was just the second-ever meeting between the two teams. Each team has now won on their home field
- It was the first career free position goal for Gabrielle Major
- Trinity Burton assisted on Sadie Bonetti's first goal. It was the first career assist for the junior
- In total, the two teams each had 23 shots on the day. Sage had the 17-4 advantage in saves
- Russell Sage took advantage of the free position. The Gators went 7-10 on Friday while the Wolves were 1-2
