KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon against SUNY Brockport, falling 20-5.
SUNY Brockport jumped out to an early lead, scoring six goals in the opening quarter. The Golden Eagles added to their advantage in the second, taking a 12-2 lead into halftime.
Keuka College showed fight in the second half as
Lainie Forde completed her hat trick and added an assist to lead the Wolves. Senior,
Liz Spin contributed a goal and an assist while adding three ground balls, three draw controls, and a caused turnover.
Brooklyn Ayers also tallied a goal and an assist for the Green and Gold.
Defensively,
Jessica Miller recorded two ground balls, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers, while
Rylie Pratt added a ground ball and a pair of draw controls.
The Golden Eagles maintained control throughout the second half to secure the conference victory over the Wolves.
