ONEONTA, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team fell on the road to Hartwick College, 21-5, in an Empire 8 matchup on Saturday afternoon.
Hartwick controlled the game from the start, building a 7-2 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 15-3 at halftime. The Hawks continued to pull away in the second half to secure the conference victory.
Lainie Forde led the Wolves offensively with three goals.
Liz Spin and
Brooklyn Ayers each added a goal for the Green and Gold, while
Rylie Pratt and
Skyler Bishuk recorded assists.
Keuka College finished with 11 total shots, including nine on goal, along with 16 ground balls and 12 draw controls.
Hartwick held advantages in shots (41-11) and controlled the pace throughout to earn the conference win.
