ALBANY, N.Y. — The Keuka College Softball team dropped both games today to Russell Sage College  

Keuka College (2-19, 1-10 E8) only crossed home plate two times which were hit over the fence in game two.

The Gators jumped out to an early lead in the first inning as they crossed home plate one time. They added two more in the second to take a 3-0 lead. The third inning was the biggest for the Gators as they added five runs to extend their lead 8-0. They added another in fifth to secure the game 9-0.

Lead Wolves: Abby Eising and Joan Carroll would be the only Wolves to reach base in game one. Eising doubled to left center in the first inning and Carroll singled to center field in the fifth inning.

Russell Sage College 10 vs Keuka College 2

Russell Sage kept the bats going as they jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Kelsey Mohl would blast a homerun in the second inning to cut the lead in half.

The Gators added four more to their lead to extend the lead 6-1.

In the fourth inning the Jordyn Fargo smashed a homerun over the left field scoreboard to make the score 6-2. The Gators would continue to add to their score with three in the fourth and one in the fifth to end the game in five innings to a score of 10-2.

Lead Wolves: Mohl and Fargos Home runs would be the first of their career and the only runs the Wolves would be able to get.

• With the one hit in game one Abby Eising passed her single season hit record with 15.
