Softball Closes 2026 with Split of Alfred State

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Softball team closed out the 2026 season with a doubleheader split of Alfred State at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Sunday.

Keuka College (7-26, 4-18 Empire 8) took the opening game behind a strong pitching performance from Olivia Flynn and a dominant offensive performance by Hailey Jasinski, winning 9-0. The Pioneers bounced back and took the second game by the score of 10-4.

Keuka College 9 vs. Alfred State 0 (5 innings) – Game 1
The Wolves took the early lead in game one and never looked back. Katie Landers singled for the Wolves, and Hailey Jasinski followed with her seventh home run of the season to make it 2-0. The Wolves added another run in the inning on an error.

In the bottom of the second, Olivia Flynn doubled for the Wolves, and then she came home in Hailey Jasinski's second two-run home run in as many innings, giving Keuka College the 5-0 advantage.

The Wolves added four more runs in the third as four straight hits started the inning for the Green and Gold. Olivia Flynn had the RBI single in the mix for Keuka. Hailey Jasinski, Lindsay Stuck, and Grace Eagen all walked with the bases loaded to force in runs as Keuka went up 9-0.

Flynn saw the game out from there in the circle. She recorded five of the final six outs via the strikeout, including striking out the side in the fifth, as Keuka College defeated Alfred State 9-0 in five innings.

Alfred State 10 at Keuka College 4 – Game 2
Alfred State took the early lead with two runs in the first inning and three more in the second.

Keuka College got on the board in the fourth. Lena Ramos had an RBI groundout for the Wolves. Giana Mruczek then followed with an RBI single to make it 5-2.

The Pioneers answered right back with five runs in the top of the fifth inning. Looking to extend the game, the Wolves worked three straight walks to load the bases in the fifth. Grace Eagen delivered the big hit for Keuka with a two-run single to make it 10-4.

Alfred State would hold Keuka there, however, as the Pioneers took game two 10-4 to split the doubleheader.
