AURORA, N.Y. — The Keuka College Baseball team dropped the one nine-inning game against Wells College.

Keuka College (10-12-1) wouldn't be able to cross home plate during the game but Jimmy Griffin was 2-4 at the plate with two singles but wouldn't be able to cross home plate.

The Wells Express would load the bases in the bottom of the first inning with three straight walks. The Wolves defense would only let one run cross home plate. The Wells Express continued to add on to their score in the bottom of the second as they made the score 2-0. Wells proceeded to add one more run in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend the lead 3-0. The Express added another in the fourth inning to give them a larger lead of 4-0. Wells added another run in the sixth inning to make the score 5-0.

The Wolves offense couldn't get going until the ninth inning. Griffin started with a single to center field. Aaron Simons followed Griffin and worked the count to take first base on a walk. The Wells defense would get out of the jam to take the game 5-0.

• Keuka College and Wells College are now 6-3 all-time.
• Today's loss was the first for the Wolves on the road against Wells.
• Josh Tryon and Donald Nemeth both doubled in the game to have 49 doubles this season for the team which is eighth in the Keuka College record books.
