Nazareth College controlled play early against Keuka College. The Golden Flyers outscored Keuka 8-0 in the first quarter and matched that in the second. Keuka had chances in the offensive end, but the Golden Flyers' goalie made three saves in each frame to hold the Green and Gold scoreless. Damage could have been worse, but Dylan Hoad made 12 saves in goal in the first half, one off his career-best of 13 in a whole game. Nazareth College led 16-0 at the half.

The Golden Flyers scored the first five goals of the second half before Keuka College got on the board. Will York collected a rebound, charged the goal, and scored with 8:13 left to give the Wolves their first. However, Nazareth closed with the final six goals to lead 27-1 after three.

Keuka College would out-score Nazareth in the final quarter. Will York got his second on another in-close attempt that beat the keeper. After Nazareth scored, Keuka College got back on the board. Crisp passing from the Wolves had Seth Spurgeon find Matt Jerman for the tally. It would be the final goal of the game as the Wolves took the fourth 2-1, but lost the game 28-3.
