Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost at home on Saturday 17-7 against Hartwick College to open Empire 8 Conference play.
Chris Bellanca scored three goals to lead Keuka College (2-4, 0-1 Empire 8). Seth Spurgeon and Hayden Coakley each added a pair of goals in the loss.
Hartwick College 17 at Keuka College 7
The visiting Hawks controlled the first half against the Wolves. Combining the two quarters, Hartwick College outshot Keuka 34-8 and had a 12-2 edge in faceoffs. Dylan Hoad made six saves in the first half, but Hartwick College built a 13-0 lead over Keuka.
Hartwick scored the first goal of the third quarter, but the Wolves got on the board as Hayden Coakley went behind the back to beat the Hawks keeper. However, Hartwick answered with two more goals to lead 16-1 after three.
The Wolves scored fast in the fourth. Coakley set up Chris Bellanca for a goal 30 seconds into the quarter. 41 seconds later, Coakley found Seth Spurgeon on the man-up for the goal. Hartwick answered the run, but the Wolves would score the final four goals of the game. Keuka outscored Hartwick 6-1 in the final quarter, but it was not enough as the Wolves fell to the Hawks 17-7.

- Dylan Hoad finished with 12 saves for the Wolves
