Box Score PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost at #5 ranked St. John Fisher College 31-3 in an Empire 8 game on Wednesday.
Keuka College (2-6, 0-3 Empire 8) got goals from Brandon MacDonell, Matt Jerman, and Seth Spurgeon. Dylan Hoad made 15 saves in goal for the Wolves.
#5 St. John Fisher College 31 vs. Keuka College 3
The host Cardinals scored first 38 seconds into the game, but the Wolves responded minutes later to tie the game. Brandon MacDonell found Matt Jerman for the goals the Wolves made it 1-1. However, St. John Fisher won the faceoff and scored six seconds later as the Cardinals regained the lead. Keuka would add another goal later in the quarter with Brandon MacDonell getting the tally, but St. John Fisher would lead 11-2 after one.
St. John Fisher scored the first two goals of the second quarter. Seth Spurgeon pulled one back for the Wolves with an unassisted goal. The Cardinals scored the final six goals of the half and went into halftime with a 19-3 lead.
The Cardinals outscored the Wolves 5-0 in the third quarter. They then had a 7-0 edge in the fourth quarter before the game was called due to lighting with 6:54 left to play as St. John Fisher defeated Keuka 31-3.
