Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team closed out the non-conference portion of their schedule in style as the Wolves defeated SUNY Poly 17-5 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Wednesday.
Sadie Bonetti led Keuka College (3-3) with a career-high nine points. The junior scored four goals and assisted on five others. Trinity Burton scored four goals as well and Brooke Bonetti added a hat trick in the win.
Keuka College 17 vs. SUNY Poly 5
The Wolves got out to a fast start scoring the first four goals of the game. Sadie Bonetti and Trinity Burton got the early goals. Then while on the man-down, the Wolves got goals from Bonetti and Julia Bauder for the lead. A SUNY Poly goal with 5:36 left in the quarter ended the run, but Keuka closed with a goal from Madeline Greene and two from Brooke Bonetti to lead 7-1 after one.
Gabrielle Major opened the scoring for the Wolves in the second quarter. The rest of the quarter was about Trinity Burton and Sadie Bonetti. Burton scored three and Bonetti two for the Wolves in the second. Keuka only allowed two goals to SUNY Poly and led 13-3 at the half.
The two teams traded goals in the third quarter. Grace Morse scored first for Keuka. That was followed by a SUNY Poly goal. Marissa Schmitz then scored from a free position, the first of her career. SUNY Poly scored the final goal of the frame, but the Wolves remained ahead 15-5.
The Green and Gold saw the game out in the final quarter. Brooke Bonetti completed her hat trick and Sydney Carr scored as Keuka College would continue onto the 17-5 victory.

- The defensive efforts were led by Jillian McGinley. The sophomore led Keuka with three caused turnovers and tied for the team-high with three ground balls
- Gabrielle Major led the Wolves with four draw controls. As a team, Keuka had a 15-10 advantage on draws
- Annaliese Black made six saves in goal for the Wolves. Black moved to eighth on both the career wins list and career saves list at Keuka College
- The win was the third of the season for Head Coach Kelly Orr. Combined with her previous 52 wins leading the Wolves, she is now the winningest coach in program history
Up Next for Keuka College: Keuka College will now turn its attention to the Empire 8 Conference. The Green and Gold will open league play against Hartwick College on Saturday, April 2. The Wolves and the Hawks will square off at 1 p.m. at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
