Wolves Recorded 22 Goals on the Road

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team took over on the road today against Medaille College. 

Will York led the way for the Keuka College (2-3) with seven goals. Brandon MacDonell and Michael Bellanca both had five goals.

The Wolves would be all attack in the first quarter they would jump on the board two minutes into the quarter by Nicholas Pipher 45 seconds later York added another to go up 2-0. MacDonell started his day four minutes later adding another goal for the Wolves. York would finish the quarter adding two more and teammate Ballanca would also add another. The Green and Gold finished the first quarter leading 6-0. 

43 seconds in the second half the Wolves added another to their score by Bellanca. Seth Spurgeon then got on the board three minutes later. York and MacDonell added to the score but Medaille would get on the board right before the half. The Wolves would lead 10-1. 

The third quarter was the largest scoring for the Wolves. York finished his day in the third quarter scoring three more times. Andrew Peterman, Bellanca, and MacDonell each added one goal to extend the lead 16-1. Enrique Castillo scored twice in the quarter to finish 18-1. 

One minute into the fourth quarter Michael Bellanca added another goal. MacDonell would round out his five goals with two in the fourth quarter. With 10:17 left into the game Medaille added another to their score. The Wolves would see the rest of the game out as the Green and Gold took home to the victory 22-2. 

KC Notes:

  • Keuka is now 24-2 all-time with Medaille College winning the last 12 straight. 
  • Will York scored seven goals which is the most in a game in the Empire 8. 
  • Enrique Castillo found the back of the net for the Wolves which is his first career goal.  

Up Next for Keuka College: Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team comes home Saturday, April 2 to face Hartwick College and start conference play.
