Box Score OSWEGO, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost on the road on Saturday afternoon at Oswego State by the score of 19-4.
Will York and Seth Spurgeon each had a pair of goals for Keuka College (1-3).
Oswego State 19 vs. Keuka College 4
The Lakers took control of the game early, outscoring Keuka College 6-0 in the first quarter. Oswego State extended their lead to 10 goals until the Wolves got on the board midway through the second quarter. Hayden Coakley set up Seth Spurgeon for the goal. However, the Lakers closed the half with two unanswered goals to lead 12-2 at the break.
Keuka College struck first in the second half. Brandon MacDonell found Will York for Keuka's second goal. Following an Oswego goal, the Wolves went back-to-back. Spurgeon set up Will York for his second goal of the game, then Spurgeon took it himself for his second goal, making it 13-4. The Lakers added two goals in the third to split the period 3-3. Oswego State then shut the Wolves out, going 4-0 in the fourth, to defeat Keuka College 19-4.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves remain on the road on Wednesday, traveling to Buffalo to face Medaille College. While it is a non-conference game this year, it will be a conference matchup next year as the Mavericks are joining the Empire 8 in the fall.
