Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost 18-3 on Monday afternoon to SUNY Brockport in a non-league game at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Keuka College (1-2) got goals from Brandon MacDonell, Hayden Coakley, and Michael Bellanca.
SUNY Brockport 18 at Keuka College 3
SUNY Brockport struck first on Monday, scoring three minutes into the game. Their second goal would not come until the halfway point of the first, but the Golden Eagles added on from there. SUNY Brockport scored nine in the opening frame for the early lead.
The Golden Eagles added to their lead in the second, scoring five more goals. Dylan Hoad made eight saves in goal during the first half for the Wolves, but the Green and Gold were held off the scoreboard. SUNY Brockport led 14-0 at the half.
Keuka College snapped the run of the Golden Eagles in the third. Brandon MacDonell opened the scoring for the Wolves 2:09 into the quarter. Michael Bellanca followed that a minute later. SUNY Brockport pulled one back, but Keuka ended the third on a high note as Hayden Coakley scored a wrap-around goal. Keuka College won the third 3-1 but trailed 15-3 going into the final quarter.
The visitors saw the game out in the final frame. SUNY Brockport outscored Keuka College 3-0 in the fourth on their way to the 18-3 victory.

- Keuka College is now 5-12 all-time, losing six straight to SUNY Brockport
- SUNY Brockport controlled most of the possession starting with the faceoff, going 17-24. Freshman Stephen Baier had four of Keuka's wins and Enrique Castillo went a perfect 3-3
- Keuka College was led in ground balls by Robert Hill with five and Daniel Rustay with four, both setting new career highs
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves now shift their focus to their first road game of the season. Keuka College will travel to Oswego State on Saturday afternoon to face the Lakers.
