Box Score 2 YORK, Pa. — The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost both matches at the York College tri-match on Saturday with both matches going four sets.
Keuka College (3-4) won the opening set against Penn St.-Harrisburg, but would fall in four. The Wolves would then fall in the second match to the host Spartans in four sets to close the day.
Penn St.-Harrisburg 3 vs. Keuka College 1 – 21-25, 25-17, 29-27, 25-21
The Wolves charged out to a fast opening set against the Nittany Lions. The Green and Gold hit 12 kills in the first set against just three errors. The Wolves took the opening frame 25-21.
Penn St.-Harrisburg responded with a 25-17 win in the second set to level the match. It would then take extra points in the third as the two former conference foes battled. Keuka had a team-high 16 kills in the third, but Harrisburg raised them with a match-high 17 as the Nittany Lions took a 2-1 lead in the match, winning the third set 29-27.
The Nittany Lions would close it out in a tight fourth set. Penn St.-Harrisburg won the fourth set 25-21 to take the match 3-1.
Lead Wolf: Lillian Mueller led the Wolves with 18 kills. The senior has already set a new personal best for kills in a season in just her sixth match and set a new career-high for kills in a match.
York College 3 vs. Keuka College 1 – 29-27, 24-26, 25-17, 25-11
The two teams traded blows in a close first set. Both teams recorded 14 kills in the frame as it progressed past 25 points. In the end, the hosts would pull out the first 29-27 for the early lead.
Keuka responded in the second, again going past 25 points. Like the first, the two teams matched each other in kills with 13 apiece. In the end, the Wolves would pull out the second 26-24 to level the match at one.
The Keuka College offense would struggle in the final two sets, however. The Wolves had seven kills in the third and just four in the fourth. The host Spartans won th third 25-17 and then closed out the match 25-11 in the fourth.
Lead Wolf: Casey Hunziker posted her second career double-double in the match. She led the Wolves with 19 assists and added 11 digs against York College.

- The Wolves fall to 4-3 all-time against Penn St.-Harrisburg and 0-3 against York College
- Keuka is a combined 0-5 all-time against those two schools in four-set matches
- Lillian Mueller's 18 kills ranks her in a tie for eighth for kills in a four-set match in program history. It was the most kills in a four-set match in five years.
- Lauren Kuipers led the Wolves with 23 and 13 digs. The senior also added three aces on the day, giving her 50 for her career
- Tionna Moss set a new career-high with 14 kills against Penn St.-Harrisburg
