Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Nine different Wolves scored on Saturday as Keuka College defeated Russell Sage College 23-17 in the regular-season finale.
Sydney Bloom led Keuka College (1-4, 1-4 Empire 8) with six goals and Madeline Greene was right behind her with five to pace the offense. Both totals marked new career highs.
Keuka College 23 vs. Russell Sage College 17
The Wolves got out to a fast start as Sara Beresovoy and Sydney Bloom scored goals 15 seconds apart of the early advantage. Keuka would get a third, but Russell Sage scored three straight to tie the game. A pair of goals by Sadie Bonetti started a 7-1 run for the Wolves as they took a 10-4 lead in the half. Sage would outscore Keuka 3-0 over the final five minutes of the half, including two goals in the final 38 seconds, but Keuka College remained ahead 10-7 at the half.
Keuka College scored the first two of the second, but Sage answered with three to make it a two-goal game. Most of the scoring chances in the second came off of transition as the game started to open up. The Gators had the margin back to two at 13-11, but Bonetti and Greene both scored off of free position shots to widen the gap. Sydney Bloom capped the mini-run with a goal as Keuka made it 16-11. After Sage scored one, Emily Hoffman found Caitlin Loving for the man-up goal. That started a run of four unanswered for the Wolves as Keuka put the game away. The teams traded goals late but Keuka College would earn their first win of the season, defeating Russell Sage College 23-17.

- Saturday was the first-ever meeting in women's lacrosse between Keuka College and Russell Sage College
- The Wolves and Gators combined for 40 total goals, the most in a single game in program history
- Along with a career-high in goals, Sydney Bloom had 15 draw controls, a career-high. It was the fourth most draw controls in a game in program history. Bloom also moved to sixth on the career draw control list with 99
- Camryn Denick had a goal and assist for the Wolves. It was the first career points for the freshman
- Sadie Bonetti set a new career-high with four goals against the Gators
Up Next for Keuka College: Saturday concluded the regular season for the Wolves. Keuka College earned the sixth seed in the Empire 8 Tournament and will play at Utica College, the third seed, on Tuesday, April 27 at 7pm.
