KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team fell under the lights at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex 22-2 to Utica College in an Empire 8 game on Tuesday night.

Keuka College (0-4, 0-4 E8) received goals from Sara Beresovoy and Sadie Bonetti. Victoria Castiglia had six saves in 42 minutes of action for the Wolves.

It was a slow start as both teams fought for possession early on. Utica led 2-0 ten minutes into the contest, but the Pioneers would get a pair of goals 13 seconds apart to make it 4-0 as they began to widen their lead. Sara Beresovoy got Keuka on the board with 13 minutes remaining to make it 7-1, but Utica scored the final four goals of the half to lead 11-1 at the break.

The Pioneers continued to attack the Wolves. Utica scored the first six goals of the second half. Sadie Bonetti stopped the run with a tally midway through the second. Utica closed with five more goals as the Pioneers defeated the Wolves 22-2.

• The Wolves are now 1-6 all-time against Utica College
• Tuesday was the first time the two teams have faced each other since 2015
• Sydney Bloom had four draw controls on Tuesday, giving her 84 in her career. Bloom is now tied with Brenna Leach for seventh on the career list
• Bloom also caused six turnovers, setting a new career-high. The effort tied for fourth-most in a game in program history

Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold continue the final stretch of the regular season. Keuka College will play at Houghton College on Thursday. The Wolves will then return home to host Russell Sage College in the regular-season finale on Saturday afternoon.
