KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team lost Nazareth College 20-3 on Wednesday in an Empire 8 contest

Madison Bell, Makayla Mesec, and Madeline Greene scored for Keuka College (0-1, 0-1 Empire 8) on Wednesday.

The Golden Flyers came out fast against the Wolves, scoring twice in the opening minute. Nazareth extended their lead to 11-0 before Madison Bell got the Wolves on the board with an unassisted goal with 10:31 left in the half. After Nazareth added two more, Makayla Mesec scored the last goal of the half. She was set up by Sadie Bonetti, but Nazareth led 13-2 at the half.

Nazareth College would outscore Keuka 7-1 in the second half. The lone goal for the Wolves came from Madeline Green with Madison Bell getting the assist. Senior goalie Emily Johnson made three of her five saves in the second half, but the Wolves would fall 20-3 on Wednesday.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will be back on the field this Saturday when they travel to Houghton College to face the Highlanders. The Wolves have faced Houghton in three of the last four seasons, however, Saturday will be the first-ever Empire 8 matchup.
