Morrisville State was down to their last out when Brianna Martin hit a game-tying homerun to right centerfield. Keuka had a chance to answer in the bottom of the inning with runners on first and second and no outs, but a strikeout and a double play ended the inning and pushed the game to extra innings tied at 2-2.

Morrisville was efficient with their tie-breaker runner in the eighth as they bunted her to third and scored on a sacrifice fly. Keuka was not able to answer in the bottom of the inning as they fell to the Mustangs 3-2.
