Wolves Lose to Penn St.-Berks at Home

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Soccer team fell at home on Saturday to defending North Eastern Athletic Conference champions Penn St.-Berks by the score of 6-1.

The Wolves (7-6, 6-4 NEAC) will step out of conference play to face the University of Rochester in Rochester on Wednesday night.

Nicole Browe scored the lone goal for the Wolves. It was the first goal allowed by Berks in conference play this season. Talia Cruz made eight saves in goal for Keuka College.

Penn St.-Berks controlled the play in the first half. They scored a pair of goals in the opening five minutes for an early lead. The Nittany Lions outshot Keuka College 13-0 in the half and added two more goals for a 4-0 halftime lead.

Trailing 5-0 in the second half, Nicole Browe got the Wolves on the board. She gained possession around near midfield and broke down the field. She was able to get past the defender, dribbling to the left side of the box, and beat the keeper to make it 5-1 in the 74th minute. Penn St.-Berks had an answer as they would go on to defeat Keuka College 6-1.
