Freshman Emily Wolf (Hornell, N.Y./Hornell) scored two goals and sophomore Abbey David (Kendall, N.Y./Kendall) added a goal as the Keuka College women's soccer team blanked SUNY Polytechnic (formerly SUNYIT) 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Marcy, N.Y.

Freshman Kenna Kosinski (Mumford, N.Y./Caledonia-Mumford) stopped a career-high 10 shots to earn her second collegiate shutout as the Wolfpack (8-3, 8-1 NEAC) remained in sole possession of first place in the NEAC with their fourth straight win.

It was the Green and Gold's sixth shutout in its last seven games.

Besides Kosinski, the defense was led by junior Hannah Dalle (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Olympia), sophomores Kassandra Bailey (Fillmore, N.Y./Fillmore) and Kaitlyn Talbot (Hornell, N.Y./Arkport), and freshman Sarah Hartman (Macedon, N.Y./Wayne).

"Kenna was on point today. The shots she faced, most of them were half chances, but she made critical saves down the stretch that gave our team some momentum," said Steve Christenson, Keuka's second-year head coach.

"Kenna reads the game well and she has been organizing our back lines effectively, so the shots she does face are half chances and not full scoring opportunities."

Wolf staked the Wolfpack to a 1-0 lead when she hammered home a free kick from 25 yards out in the 28th minute.

Exactly 10 minutes later, David extended the lead to 2-0 when she scored on a corner kick with 6:49 remaining in the opening half.

Neither team scored again until the Green and Gold tacked on an insurance goal late in regulation.

Freshman Alex Milazzo (Troy, N.Y./Tamarac) possessed the ball out wide and played a through ball in for Wolf, who made a run and got in behind the defense. After SUNY Poly keeper Angela Bartlett came out to challenge Wolf, Wolf slotted home a shot to finish off the scoring in the 89th minute.

The Wolfpack travel to Alfred University at 7 p.m. Tuesday night before closing the year with four straight home games, including NEAC showdowns with Penn State-Abington (8-3, 7-1 NEAC), Penn State-Berks (9-1, 6-0 NEAC) and Lancaster Bible College (7-3, 4-2 NEAC).

"Our women played within themselves today and found a way to win," Christenson said. "As a group, our defense is playing well collectively and we're getting better each day.
