Senior Nicole Sharick (Corfu, NY/Pembroke) and junior Jessica Bandrowski (Center Moriches, NY/ Center Moriches) each scored two goals and a stout Keuka College defense pitched its third straight shutout during Saturday afternoon's 5-0 blanking of the College of St. Elizabeth.

Sophomore Marriah Gough (Oneida, NY/ Stockbridge Valley) added a late goal, her second in as many games, to power the Storm (6-5, 6-3 NEAC) to the win at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

Sharick and Bandrowski each recorded two goals and an assist while junior Brooke Lovell (Arkport, NY/ Arkport) and sophomore Monica Hika (Kaneohe, HI/ Kalaheo) added assists for Keuka, which won for the fourth time in five conference games.

With her third straight multi-goal game, Sharick, a three-time All-NEAC forward who has 13 goals this year and 47 for her career, moved closer to tying Nicole Bondellio's school-record of 50 goals.

Sharick has scored a goal in six of the Storm's 11 games, and every time she's scored, she's had at least two goals, including a three-goal gem during a 4-1 road win over Gallaudet University on Sept. 23.

Gough and freshman Maggie Tower (Waterville, NY/ Home schooled) split time in goal and combined for three saves to earn the Storm's fourth shutout of the season.

Sharick put the Green and Gold up 1-0 with 23:48 remaining in the first half. Bandrowski played a ball from midfield up to Lovell at the 18. Lovell turned and found Sharick open in the box, and the forward buried the shot for an early lead.

The Storm held the Eagles (4-9-1, 3-6 NEAC) to no shots on goal in the first half and took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

St. Elizabeth finally managed a shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but would be out-shot 28-9 for the game, including 17-1 in the first half.

Hika recorded her first point of her Keuka career when she assisted on Bandrowski's first goal. Bandrowski booted her shot towards the right side of the net in the 52nd minute to give the Storm a two-goal lead.

One minute later, Sharick tacked onto the lead. Dribbling through the Eagles' defense, Sharick ripped a shot from inside the box towards the right side of the net, her sixth score in the Storm's last three home games.

Bandrowski added her second score with 28:28 remaining. Like Sharick, Bandrowski split the defense, dribbled into the box and scored her 12th goal of the season for a commanding 4-0 lead.

Gough, who started in net and made one save in 65 minutes, re-entered as a midfielder and finished the scoring with 42 seconds remaining. Sharick dribbled down the sideline and past a defender before playing a cross at the feet of Gough, who was running down the far side of the field. Gough pushed her shot into the near post to seal the 5-0 win.

Keuka returns to action with a 1 p.m. home contest Sunday afternoon against NEAC rival Wilson College, a game that serves as both Senior Day and Parents' Day.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month events on campus, Keuka's women's soccer team will do its part during Sunday's regular-season home finale. There will be a table set up collecting donations to go towards the Keuka Comfort Care Home (www.keukacomfortcarehome.org), a hospice home in Penn Yan that offers free, compassionate end-of-life care to terminally ill residents of both Yates County and the surrounding area.

During the game, Keuka's four seniors, Sharick, Shelby Seeley (Livonia, NY/Livonia), Sarah Capek (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) and Sarah Hillman (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) will be honored on Senior Day for their dedication to the women's soccer program.
