Dr. Arthur F. Kirk, Jr. Athletics Hall of Fame
Kyle Bower was a prolific scorer for the Keuka College Men's Basketball team in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was an early member of the 1,000-point club for the Green & Gold with 1,078 points over his career. Bower had one of the top rebounding displays in program history when he collected 282 boards in the 1990-91 season, still second-most in program history. He held the College record for points in a game for more than 35 years after scoring 40 in a win over Elmira College on Dec. 14, 1990. The record wasn't broken until this past January. Bower received his bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and continued his education, earning his master's from SUNY Geneseo. He is a former high school basketball coach and teacher. He recently retired from his position as Superintendent of the Hammondsport Central School District.
