ELMIRA, N.Y. — The Keuka College men's soccer team was unable to overcome a late first-half goal as the Wolves dropped a 3-0 Empire 8 decision on the road Saturday afternoon.

The Wolves came out aggressively, creating several early opportunities. Pawlisch fired wide in the 10th minute before
Cody Bronner sent an attempt over the crossbar less than two minutes later.
Jariel Ubiles followed with a shot that missed wide before Kritzer forced a save in the 17th minute with a low attempt from outside the box.
Jakob Snyder came through with back-to-back saves midway through the opening half to keep the match scoreless. Keuka College continued to pressure with a pair of corner kicks and another shot from Pawlisch, but the deadlock was broken in the 43rd minute as the home team scored with 2:28 remaining before halftime to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
Keuka College looked for an equalizer after halftime and earned another corner kick in the 57th minute.
Carson Montoney and Pawlisch each had chances midway through the second half, but both shots sailed wide.
The Wolves continued to battle into the closing minutes, but two goals just 30 seconds apart in the 86th minute extended the margin. Cowin produced Keuka College's final shot on goal in the 90th minute, but it was turned aside as the Wolves were held scoreless.
