ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team fell on the road Thursday evening, dropping a non-conference contest at Alfred State, 17-5.
Lainie Forde led Keuka College with four points on three goals and an assist.
Liz Spin added a goal and two assists, while
Rylie Pratt contributed a goal for the Wolves.

Keuka College (2-3) came out strong, striking early as Forde scored twice in the opening five minutes to give the Wolves a 2-0 advantage. However, Alfred State responded with four straight goals to close the first quarter and take a 4-2 lead.
The Pioneers continued to build momentum in the second quarter, outscoring the Wolves 5-1. Spin scored off an assist from Forde to briefly halt the run, but Alfred State carried a 9-3 lead into halftime.
Out of the break, the Wolves showed life as Pratt and Forde scored back-to-back goals midway through the third quarter to cut into the deficit. The Green and Gold made it a five-goal game at 10-5, but Alfred State answered with three straight goals to close the third and extend the lead.
Alfred State controlled the final quarter, adding four more goals while holding Keuka scoreless to secure the 17-5 victory.
