MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost on Wednesday on the road at SUNY Morrisville 23-4 in a non-conference game.
Harrison Root scored all four goals for Keuka College (2-2).
Jaxson Tucker made 20 saves in goal for the Green and Gold.

Morrisville jumped out quickly with a pair of early goals before Keuka answered midway through the quarter as
Harrison Root found the net to cut the deficit to one. The Mustangs responded with a sustained scoring run, capitalizing on faceoff wins and extra possessions to build separation as the period progressed. Despite several saves from
Jaxson Tucker in goal and defensive efforts from the Wolves to slow the surge, Morrisville closed the opening quarter with momentum and a 7-1 advantage.
Keuka looked to settle in early in the second with Tucker making multiple saves to keep the Wolves within reach, but Morrisville continued to generate pressure offensively. The Mustangs added several goals throughout the period, including a late push in the final minute that stretched the lead further before halftime. The Wolves created a few opportunities on offense and earned an extra-man chance midway through the quarter but were unable to convert, sending Morrisville into the break with a 13-1 lead.
Morrisville continued to control possession to start the second half, scoring early and adding to the margin as the period progressed. The Wolves' defense produced moments of resistance, including caused turnovers and saves from Tucker, but the Mustangs maintained offensive momentum and added several goals throughout the frame. Keuka continued to battle for ground balls and clears, yet Morrisville carried a 21-1 lead into the fourth quarter.
Keuka found offensive rhythm late in the game, capitalizing on multiple man-up opportunities.
Harrison Root sparked the Wolves' attack with three fourth-quarter goals, including back-to-back extra-man finishes off assists from
Nikolas Gitsis and
Cam Hovater. The Wolves generated several additional chances and continued to push the pace in transition, but Morrisville added a pair of late goals to close out the contest as Keuka finished the game battling through the final minutes.
