After standout performances last week,Lillian Mullen of women's basketball and Lamar Lovelace of men's basketball were named Wolves of the Week.
Lillian Mullen – Women's Basketball
Lillian Mullen posted a strong weekend for the Wolves, scoring five points with two assists and a steal against Nazareth on Friday before leading the team with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range, while adding three rebounds and two assists against St. John Fisher on Saturday. For the week, Mullen averaged 13.5 points per game and shot 47.4% from the field and 36.4% from beyond the arc.
Lamar Lovelace – Men's Basketball
Lamar Lovelace continued his record-setting season over the weekend as the Wolves prepared for the postseason, scoring 27 points with seven rebounds and five steals against Nazareth University on Friday before posting 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists on Senior Day in a win over St. John Fisher. For the week, Lovelace averaged 24 points, 7.5 rebounds, four assists and 3.5 steals per game. He leads the Empire 8 in scoring and is approaching 500 points for the season.
