WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost on Saturday 4-1 at Lycoming College in a non-conference game.

Anna Dewey scored the first goal of the season for Keuka College (0-2). Khadeeja Reed made six stops in goal for the Wolves.

The Warriors took control of the first quarter with multiple corners in the opening minutes. They were able to convert midway through the frame for the 1-0 lead. Lycoming doubled their lead 55 seconds later, again off of a corner. The scoring continued for the hosts as they added a third goal to lead 3-0 after one.

The Wolves had a chance to get back in the game early in the second. Sustained pressure by the Green and Gold resulted in a shot from Anna Dewey, but the effort was stopped. Lycoming added a fourth goal before halftime to lead 4-0 at the break.

Lycoming had more chances built off of penalty corners in the third quarter, but Reed stood tall to make the saves she needed to keep the Warriors at four.

The Wolves got on the board in the final minute, converting off of a corner of their own. Cassidy Scheftic inserted the corner. The ball would be worked to Tori Nelson who found Anna Dewey for the goal.

• The Wolves fall to 0-4 all-time against Lycoming College
• The goal by Dewey was her first of the season and 12th of her career. With the goal, she moved to ninth in the Keuka College record book with 26 career points
