Wilder Records Career-High 15 Saves at Nazareth

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer Team played their third straight conference game on Saturday at Nazareth University and lost 2-0.
The Wolves (0-5-3, 0-2-1 Empire 8) were shut out in the conference matchup but got a standout performance from senior goalkeeper Elianna Wilder, who recorded a career-high 15 saves.

It was an even first half in Rochester as neither side found the back of the net. The Golden Flyers generated more chances, holding a 7-3 edge in shots, while corner kicks were nearly even with three for Nazareth and two for Keuka. Goalkeeper Elianna Wilder made four saves in the half. Delaney Szostak recorded Keuka's lone shot on goal, but it was stopped by the Nazareth keeper.
Payton Steates and Rosie Wallace each had an opportunity on goal early in the second half for the Wolves but couldn't capitalize. The Golden Flyers then seized momentum with two shots and a corner kick that led to the first goal of the game in the 49th minute, giving them a 1-0 advantage. Nazareth continued to press, outshooting Keuka 20-2 in the half. Wilder recorded 11 saves after halftime, but the Golden Flyers added a second goal in the 75th minute to secure the conference win.

  • The Wolves are now 5-13-1 all-time against Nazareth and 3-7 on the road in the series
  • After her career day, Wilder is just 20 saves shy of tying Kenna Kosinski (2014–17) for 10th all-time in program history
