KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer team lost at home to SUNY Geneseo 5-0 in an Empire 8 Conference game on Wednesday.
Keuka College (0-6-3, 0-3-1 Empire 8) had nine combined saves in the game with
Payton Malec making six in the first half and
Elianna Wilder recording three in the second.

The Knights pressured the Keuka College goal early, but the Wolves' defense did a good job in limiting their chances and blocking shots. When the ball did get through,
Payton Malec was there for the save. The sophomore made six stops in the frame for the Wolves. Geneseo would break through in the 34th minute, taking advantage of a corner kick, to make it 1-0. They doubled their lead minutes later, taking advantage of a Keuka misplay, to lead 2-0 at the half.
SUNY Geneseo continued to control the play in the half, outshooting Keuka College 14-1 in the frame. The Knights added to their lead midway through the half. Geneseo then added two more goals in the final ten minutes to secure the conference victory.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves are back at home on Saturday as they host Hartwick College at 3 p.m. at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex. After that game, Keuka will go on a long five-game road trip. The Wolves will not play back at home after Saturday until their final game of the season.
