The Golden Eagles started out on the front foot against the Wolves, but Keuka College did a good job at limiting their shots to distance. Wilder made two early saves for the Green and Gold. Keuka had its best chance of the half in the 13th minute off of a corner kick. Delaney Szostak sent the kick into box and the in-swinging ball turned towards goal. The effort forced the Brockport keeper into a leaping save to keep the game scoreless. The Wolves were able to sustain pressure over the next two minutes, but unable to break through. Brockport regained control and pushed the Wolves. In total. Wilder made six stops in the first half for the Green and Gold to keep the game scoreless at half.

SUNY Brockport continued to press the Wolves in the second half. They had a run of three straight corner kicks early in the half. On the final kick, the ball bounced through to the back post and was hit in for the 1-0 Golden Eagle lead. The Wolves had their best chance of the half in the 70th minute. Anna Leone sent a corner kick in for the Wolves. The ball worked back to her on the wing, and she sent a second ball into the box. It rattled around and found the foot of Kelsey Davis with some space. The Brockport keeper made a good save to keep the Wolves off the board. The Golden Eagles regained possession and bled the clock out for the 1-0 victory.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves have a week off before they are back on the field in another Empire 8 Conference match. Keuka College will travel to Nazareth University on Saturday, September 27 to face the Golden Flyers.
