KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost at home against Marian University 5-0 in a non-conference game at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
The goalkeeping duo of
Khadeeja Reed and
Nijeylie Torres combined for 20 saves for Keuka College (0-5). Reed made seven in the first half, and Torres turned away 13 shots in the second half.

The Sabres took the lead early in the contest, scoring in the fifth minute. They doubled their lead just before the end of the first quarter. Second quarter was nearly scoreless until Marian scored 29 seconds before halftime. The Wolves were outshot 12-0 in the opening 30 minutes and trailed 3-0 at the half.
Marian continued to attack in the second half. They outshot the Wovles 7-1 in the third, but quarter was scoreless as the Sabres maintained their 3-0 lead. The visitors added two goals in the fourth to defeat the Wolves 5-0.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold will return to conference play this week with a pair of Empire 8 games on the road. Keuka College will travel to Houghton University to face the Highlanders on Wednesday and then play at Nazareth University on Friday.
