KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer team opened their Empire 8 Conference schedule with a result, playing Alfred University to a scoreless draw at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex on Saturday.
Elianna Wilder earned the clean sheet in goal for Keuka College (0-3-3, 0-0-1 Empire 8), making five saves on the afternoon.

Both sides had chances early in the game, but the two teams settled into play. Keuka College had a pair of opportunities with corner kicks in the opening 45 minutes, but Alfred largely had the better of the efforts. The Saxons had three corner kicks and nine shots in the opening frame. Wilder made the stops for the Wolves to keep the game scoreless at the half.
The game began to open up midway through the second half. Alfred had four corners in a two-minute span, but the Wolves started to attack the Saxons on the counter. In the 65th minute,
Rosie Wallace slipped a ball in to
Delaney Szostak. Szostak raced in on goal but a last-minute tackle by the Saxons blocked the shot. The Wolves pushed again in the 78th minute on a nice individual effort by
Rilee Nunan. The junior raced down the left sideline, passing Alfred defenders, and getting the ball down to the end line. Her cross attempt was deflected for a corner. The Wolves were unable to capitalize. Keuka played a strong defense to close out the match and secure the draw.

- The tie snapped a four-game losing streak for Keuka College against Alfred. The Wolves are now 8-12-6 all-time against the Saxons
- It was the first result for the Green and Gold against Alfred while members of the Empire 8
- Elianna Wilder made five saves for the Wolves to earn her third career shutout. In team history, it was the ninth time Keuka has shut out Alfred
- The Wolves have now drawn three straight games for the first time in program history
