Wolves Fall to SUNY Geneseo 22-1

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team lost on Wednesday to SUNY Geneseo 22-1 in an Empire 8 Conference game at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

Brooke Bonetti scored for Keuka College (4-7, 1-5 Empire 8).

The Knights jumped out to an early lead, scoring 11 goals in the first quarter. SUNY Geneseo continued from there to lead 17-0 at the half.

Bonetti scored on a free-position opportunity with 3:34 left in the fourth. That proved to be the final goal for either team in the game as SUNY Geneseo defeated Keuka College 22-1.

Wednesday was the 50th career game for Bonetti and for fellow senior Katie Deatherage.

Lauren Vitello made seven saves in goal for the Wolves. She surpassed 250 career saves. The sophomore now has 112 saves on the season, seventh-most in program history.

Keuka College will play its final home game this Saturday, hosting Hartwick College at 1 p.m. at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex. It will also be Senior Day for the Wolves with the annual celebration happening prior to the game.
