KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College men's soccer team earned its first win of the season Wednesday, defeating Houghton University 3-2 in an Empire 8 matchup. The victory marked head coach Jordan Sullivan's first collegiate win and snapped a 28-game losing streak, the longest active drought in NCAA Division III.
Senior Brenden Moquin led the Wolves with two goals, both coming on headers.

The Highlanders opened the first half on the attack, recording four shots and breaking through with a goal in the 21st minute before Keuka registered its first attempt. Houghton kept up the pressure with four more shots to Keuka's one before the 35-minute mark. The Wolves answered late in the half as Brenden Moquin headed in the equalizer off a cross from Evan Simmons, sending the match into halftime tied at 1-1.
Keuka carried its momentum into the second half as first-year Timothy Cowin scored in the 54th minute to give the Wolves a 2-1 lead. Houghton pressed for the equalizer, but Moquin struck again in the 82nd minute, heading home his second goal of the night on an assist from Nicola Costa. The Highlanders pulled one back in the 85th minute, but the Wolves held firm to secure the 3-2 victory.
