KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Lacrosse team lost to St. John Fisher 20-3 on Wednesday night.
Keuka College (1-7, 0-2 Empire 8) had two student-athletes score goals in the Empire 8 loss,
Brooke Bonetti (Seneca Falls, N.Y. / Mynderse Academy) scored two goals,
Grace Morse (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Marcus Whitman) scored a goal and one assist, and
Alyssa Chase (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Marcus Whitman had one assist.

The Cardinals controlled the first quarter, going up to a quick 9-0 lead. After extending the lead to 11-0 to start the second, Keuka got themselves on the board with a goal from
Brooke Bonetti and an assist from Alysa Chase. The Wolves only allowed one more goal in the half, and the game went to the break with the Cardinals up 12-1.
St. John Fisher continued to control possession and extended their lead to 15-1. However,
Grace Morse found the back of the net on a free-position shot to give the Wolves their second score of the game. The gap was too large to close but
Grace Morse found Bonetti for one final Keuka point and the game ended 20-3.
Lauren Vitello (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Schroeder) fought hard in goal and was credited with a career-high 15 saves.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold will end the week with another home game on Saturday at 4 p.m. Keuka College is set for an Empire 8 matchup against Alfred University at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
