ELMIRA, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team lost on Wednesday at Elmira College 2-0 in an Empire 8 Conference game.
Carson Smith made eight saves in goal for Keuka College (1-6-1, 0-2-1 Empire 8).

The Wolves came out fast and had three early corner kicks to attack the Elmira end.
Connor Thorpe was able to get a shot off on the third corner kick, but it was saved by the Soaring Eagles keeper. Minutes later, Elmira got on the board as they scored six minutes into the game for the lead. The fourth-minute attempt by Thorpe was the only shot for the Wolves in the half. Elmira outshot Keuka 11-1 in the frame and led 1-0 at the break.
Once again, Keuka attacked fast to start the half. The Wolves had four shots in the first 10 minutes of the second, but two were wide and the other two were saved. Elmira again flipped the field and began to pressure the Keuka goal. The pressure paid off for the Soaring Eagles as they were awarded a penalty kick in the 79th minute. Elmira converted and continued on to the 2-0 victory.
