KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team lost to St. John Fisher University 26-2 in an Empire 8 Conference game on a stormy Wednesday night at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Dylan Hoad set a new career-high with 17 saves for Keuka College (4-3, 0-2 Empire 8). Scoring for the Wolves on Wednesday were
Kyle Murphy and
Dylan DeLucia.
St. John Fisher University 26 at Keuka College 2
The Cardinals controlled the play in the first quarter. They went 7-7 on faceoffs and held Keuka to 50% on clears. Hoad made five saves in goal for Keuka, but St. John Fisher led 6-0 after the first.
Keuka College would score first in the second quarter.
Enrique Castillo won the opening faceoff and quickly found
Kyle Murphy for the goal 21 seconds into the frame. The Wolves were successful at the X in the second quarter, holding a 5-4 advantage in faceoffs. The Cardinals responded with seven straight and led 13-1 at the half.
St. John Fisher would continue that run to 20 goals to extend their lead in the second half.
Dylan Hoad added eight more saves in the final 30 minutes for the Wolves. The last goal of the game came from Keuka's
Dylan DeLucia late in the fourth. The Wolves would fall to the Cardinals 26-2 on Wednesday.

- Hoad's career-high 14 saves were amongst the 10 highest save totals in the conference this season
- Senior Dylan Hoad also became the eighth goalie in program history to surpass 200 career saves
- Enrique Castillo finished at 54%, winning seven faceoffs
- Castillo also notched his first career assist on Wednesday
- Zach Moyer tied for the team lead with three forced turnovers. Moyer moved to seventh on the career CT list at Keuka College
- The opening faceoff was delayed one hour due to weather in the area
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves are on the road next with a conference test at Hartwick College on Saturday. Keuka College will be in pursuit of its first-ever win over Hartwick College. The Men's Lacrosse team will kick off a Wolves at Hawks lacrosse doubleheader as they will faceoff at noon and the Women's Lacrosse teams will follow at 3 p.m. at Hartwick.
