KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Baseball team (7-19, 2-10 Empire 8) defeated the Cazenovia College Wildcats 3-2 at home on Wednesday afternoon.
Tyler Lewandowski (Milltown, N.J. / Spotswood) and
Derek Novicki (North Haven, Conn. / North Haven) both recorded two hits and one RBI in the game.
James Fino (Buffalo, N.Y. / Bishop Timon) got the start on the mound going six full innings and giving up no runs with six strikeouts.

The Wolves and Wildcats played even to start the game. It was not until the bottom of the fifth inning that the Wolves took control of the game.
Jackson Loper (Riverhead, N.Y. / Riverhead) walked and advanced to second on a ground ball by
Samuel O'Neil (Macedon, N.Y. / Ruben A. Cirillo).
Tyler Lewandowski came up with a single to right field to score Loper.
Matt Vaccaro (Fayetteville, N.Y. / Fayetteville-Manlius) came up right behind and bunted for a hit, advancing to third on a throwing error. Lewandowski scored on the play putting the Wolves up 2-0.
The Wildcats tied the game in the top of the seventh after stringing together a couple of hits to bring the score to 2-2.
Nolan Quinn (Aurora, OH / Walsh Jesuit) reached first on an error in the top of the eighth and stole second to get into scoring position.
Derek Novicki knocked a single to right field to score Quinn and give the Wolves the 3-2 lead.
Ethan Tillotson (Pavilion, N.Y. / Pavilion) came in to close in the top of the ninth shutting down the Wildcats offense and helping the Wolves win the game 3-2.

- The Keuka College Baseball team is 26-36 overall against Cazenovia College.
- This is the Wolves' second win of the year against the Wildcats.
- The Wolves have thrown 159 strikeouts this season, they are now 7th overall in the record book.
- Tyler Lewandowski extends his hitting streak to 11 games after today.
- After hitting a triple in the bottom of the second today, Josh Tryon (Elmira, N.Y. / Thomas A. Edison) is now solely in fifth place overall with seven career triples.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Keuka College Baseball team is back at home this weekend for a three-game series against Medaille University. The Wolves will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 29
th starting at 1:00 pm followed by a single game on Sunday, April 30
th at 1:00 pm.
