The Wolves scored early as Murphy found MacDonell 2:32 into the contest for the 1-0 lead. MacDonell then found Gerhardt midway through the frame to make it 2-0. Hilbert pulled one back but Keuka lead 2-1 after one.

It was all about the goalies in the second quarter. The two netminders combined for 12 saves in the frame. Hilbert tied the game with six minutes left before the half. The game looked like it could be tied at halftime, but Brandon MacDonell scored for the Wolves with 11 seconds left on the clock to give Keuak the 3-2 edge at the break.

The two teams traded goals in the third quarter. Keuka struck first as Murphy found Gerhardt for the goal. Following a Hilbert goal, Dylan DeLucia got on the board with Nicholas Pipher getting the assist. But Hilbert would match that goal too. The quarter would finish 2-2 in goals with Keuka taking the one-goal lead, 5-4, into the final quarter.

DeLucia scored his second of the game to open the scoring early in the fourth. Minutes later, Devon Gerhardt pushed the lead to three with his third goal of the game. The best defense was a good offense for Keuka as they put the game away. The Wolves had a 19-2 advantage in shots and Keuka College goalie Dylan Hoad made both saves on the shots against him. The Wolves put the game away with goals by MacDonell, Matt Jerman, and Gerhardt in the final 2:14 to defeat Hilbert College 10-4.
