The Blue Devils took a quick 3-0 lead over the Wolves, but Keuka closed the quarter strong. Marissa Schmitz set up Julia Bauder for Keuka's first goal of the game. Madeline Greene then converted a free-position shot with 34 seconds remaining to make it a one-goal game after 15 minutes.

Like the first quarter, Fredonia scored the first three goals in the frame to extend their lead to 6-2. The Wolves drew one back on a goal by Maddie Fassinger, but the Blue Devils led 6-3 at the half.

The hosts created separation in the third quarter. Fredonia outscored Keuka 8-1 in the frame. Greene got the goal for the Wolves with Sadie Bonetti getting the assist. Fredonia took a 14-4 lead into the final quarter.

The final quarter was a lot like the third with Fredonia controlling the play. Julia Bauder scored her second, but the Wolves were outscored 6-1 in the fourth as Fredonia continued onto the 20-5 victory.
