ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Lacrosse team dropped their Empire 8 Conference opener at Nazareth College 23-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
Brandon MacDonell and
Matt Jerman each scored for Keuka College (4-2, 0-1 Empire 8).
Dylan Hoad made ten saves for the Wolves.

Nazareth College took the lead 1:09 into the game on Wednesday and remained in control throughout. The Golden Flyers outscored the Wolves 6-0 in the first and then added seven in the second for a 13-0 halftime lead. Keuka College had nine shots in the first half with four on goal.
Brandon MacDonell scored for the Wolves 3:15 into the third quarter to make the score 15-1. MacDonell would then get the assist on a man-up goal by
Matt Jerman late in the fourth quarter that closed the scoring for the game.

- The Wolves remain in search of their first win against Nazareth College. Keuka College has faced the Golden Flyers six times in program history
- The goal by Jerman extended his goal streak to 12 games
- Dylan Hoad moved from tenth to a tie for eighth on the career saves list. Hoad has turned away 184 shots in his career
- To go with his goal and assist, Brandon MacDonell led the Wolves with five ground balls
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves have a week off to prepare for their next Empire 8 game. Keuka College will host St. John Fisher University next Wednesday, April 5 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex. The game will be under the lights with a 7 p.m. faceoff.
