KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team played SUNY Canton to a scoreless draw on Wednesday afternoon at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Keuka College (1-7-3, 0-3-2 Empire 8) had an 11-3 advantage in shots and 3-0 edge in shots on goal.

Keuka College had an early chance off a corner kick in the third minute. They nodded on a header from the near post to the far post but was never able to get a good connection on the second header to get it near goal. In the 12th minute,
Evan Pellerito let a good effort from outside the goal go, but the Roos keeper dove to his right to make the save. The Wolves had another chance in the closing minutes of the half as
Liam Fitzpatrick drove the end line. He sent a cross in that found a head, but just grazed off it and didn't end up near the goal. The game would be scoreless at the half.
The Wolves continued to put attempts on goal, but most were wide of frame.
Isaac Smith had an attempt saved midway through the second.
Carson Smith did a good job patrolling his box defensively, limiting any Canton chance before the visitors were able to get a shot on goal. After 90 minutes, the game was final with a 0-0 tie.
KC Notes:
- Keuka College is now 0-2-1 all-time against SUNY Canton. It was their first meeting with the Roos since the 2013 season
- Carson Smith did not have to make a save to earn his first shutout of the season
- It was the first time since November 2019 that Keuka College did not allow a shot on goal in the game

Keuka College will host Nazareth University at 1 p.m. at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex in an Empire 8 game. Before the game will be a ceremony to honor the members of the Class of 2024 on this year's Keuka College Men's Soccer team.
