TUCSON, Ariz. — Keuka College senior
Josh Tryon was named by
Collegiate Baseball newspaper as an NCAA Division III Player to Watch for 2023.
Tyron was one of 28 third basemen across the county to be spotlighted. He was also one of ten Empire 8 student-athletes to be named.
Josh Tryon had a career year for the Wolves in 2022. He hit .325 with 26 hits in 27 games played. Ten of his hits were for extra bases with eight doubles, a triple, and a home run. Tryon drove in 16 runs for Keuka and scored 12 himself.
Tryon will be a team leader for first-year head coach Jake Marinelli. He is the only senior position player on Keuka College's roster.
Opening day for Tryon and the Wolves is moving ever closer. The Green and Gold are set to open the 2023 season on Saturday, March 4 with a doubleheader at Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania.
